Instruction for updating firmware on iXM

If you need to restore the camera firmware to factory default

  1. Open the XQD card cover
  2. Insert a pin into the hole shown in the picture and hold it down*
  3. Connect the camera to power
  4. Wait for 3-4 seconds.
  5. Put the camera aside for several minutes while the firmware is restored to the factor version.

Do not power off the camera until all LED's resumes normal colors.

*Note: There is a small button inside the little hole. It is not necessary to push very hard. On some units it can be very difficult to feel that the button is being pushed down but a simple normal press is enough for the reset to work. Pressing with too much force may damage the unit.
